The “Capodimonte” is a room characterized by a large size, a capacious wardrobe in English style and a spacious bathroom with a suggestive shower under the vault of an arch. Its walls recall the red of the Royal Palace whose name it bears and is adorned with a historical map of the entire city of Naples with the Saint Martino Hill in the foreground. The coverings and floors give extreme brightness thanks to the use of Lecce stone.
It has a window that directly overlooks the Stairs of the Saint Martino Pedamentina and offers a magnificent view of the Capodimonte hill with the famous Bourbon Royal Palace and the Incoronata Basilica under which the Saint Gennaro Catacombs are located.
